About the author
Nerisha Yanee Dewoo was born in Mauritius in 1991. She is the second child of Jeannine and Sumangal. Criticized at a very young age because she speaks French instead of Creole, she decides, as she grows up, to explore both languages. She begins to write, moving between cultures, immersed in two different worlds and various Mauritian stories.
