G is for Ghana

This ABC book is
written with beautiful memories of Ghana in mind, it showcases the rich
cultures the country, and for those ex-patriots it will rekindle the
nostalgic feelings of youth. Ghana is a West African country nestled
among Burkina Faso in the north, the Gulf of Guinea in the south, Togo
in the east and Ivory Coast in the west. It is made up of an amazing
blend of varied cultures and tribal influences, with great tribes such
as the Dagombas, Frafras, Kusasis, Walas and Gonjas from the north, and
the Ashantis, Akyems, Fantis , Ewes and the Gas in the south!

Fatima Subri-Smith

Fatima Subri-Smith was
born, and raised in a small village called Asuoso in the Eastern Region
of Ghana. She and her family moved to Tamale in the Northern Region,
where she attended Tamale Training College. She studied at the
Institute of Education, University College London, where she obtained
her B.Ed. Honours Degree. Fatima lives in London where she is a teacher
in a primary school.
