Lagos Heat

Children from parents of varied social backgrounds negotiate a nebulous and discriminatory social ladder and create their own subculture. Their story is of growing up in a competitive, culturally disorientating class-conscious urban city – Lagos – told from the perspective of a Western immigrant of British origin living in Lagos. Olatoun Williams is the author of other creative works including the novella Triumvirate (1992).
