palabres est un recueil poétique qui se veut être à la fois engagé et
didactique. Son chant poétique incarne une conscience et une identité
propre au bercail qui l’a enfanté. C’est grâces aux chants
mélancholiques que le poète parvient à quitter son terroir d’adoption
pour élire domicile au ciel de son enfance perdue; au règne de la
civilisation autochtone. Grâce à ses chants inspiratoires le poète
réussit à revivre la vie primitive de jadis. Il situe son âge d’or à
califourchon entre le passé et le présent. Au sein de ce recueil, chaque
strophe et chaque verset vibre au rythme d’une nouvelle bouffée
d’oxgyène.

About the author
Dr. Peter Wuteh Vakunta is a native of Bamunka-Ndop in the Northwest Region of the Republic of Cameroon. His education is global. Peter studied in Cameroon, Nigeria, South Africa, France and the United States of America. His research interests are cross-disciplinary and straddle the worlds of Francophonie and the Commonwealth. Peter is a prolific writer with over fifteen works on literary theory and fiction under his belt. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Modern Languages at the University of Indianapolis in the United States of America.
