Saré Jam

Dans un contexte de crise, d’exil et de tension communautaire, Saré Jam, petit village du Nord-Cameroun, renaît de ses cendres grâce à la
sagesse de ses anciens, à l’engagement des jeunes et, surtout, à la force tranquille des femmes. Celles-ci ne sont pas seulement mères ou épouses, elles deviennent piliers de la réconciliation, médiatrices des conflits, actrices du développement et gardiennes du lien social. L’histoire s’articule autour d’initiatives concrètes : retour des exilés, éducation des filles, construction d’écoles, de marchés communautaires ; projets agricoles, et même la venue de représentants de l’État. Saré Jam s’étend, s’organise, rayonne… jusqu’à devenir une référence nationale et transfrontalière. Ce roman est bien plus qu’un simple récit.
