Oamen should be praised for convincing characterizations and amusing yet poignant evocations of his heroines’ tribulations. He provides a thorough presentation of social themes in his works with the view to affecting the larger social issues. He is so feminine that the ‘de-emotionalization’ of sex in his works appear understandable.
