Aisha Ali Haji is a Kenyan writer, communications specialist and feminist activist whose work hopes to think with culture, folklore, history and the supernatural to tell stories about people and places. She has worked as a writer, editor and content creator, and her writing has appeared in Jalada, This is Africa, openDemocracy and African Arguments. She is a Saseni Writers Workshop 2019 participant, AWDF Women Writing for Change 2015 and 2020 Global Advocate Fellow at Mama Hope, as well as a very dedicated cat-mother. She is also a member of the #WeAre52pc and Atieno feminist collectives.
