Hamdi Ali is a young Somali writer and artist, interested in the intersection between writing and art. She uses her creative work to address and raise awareness on pressing social, political and cultural issues in her community. She is currently completing her MA degree in Peace and Conflict studies. When she’s not working and writing, she enjoys reading, especially novels.
