Jolyn Phillips grew up in Gansbaai. She is a Mandela Rhodes Scholar and holds an MA in Creative Writing from UWC. She has been published in Aerodrome and the anthologies This Land I Call Home and Ghost Eater and Other Stories. Tjieng Tjang Tjerries and other stories is her first book.
