Kim H. Rasmussen was born in Denmark in 1957 and started his career as a shipping trainee with The East Asiatic Company in 1977. From 1991 to 2012 and again in 2015-2017, he lived and worked – primarily as a managing director of private companies – in Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire, Tanzania and Ghana.
