Ni Mike Joko

Ni Mike Joko, born in Buea and raised in Bamenda, Cameroon, attended several Cameroonian schools before earning an LLB(Hons) from the University of Buea in 1996. He continued his legal education in South Africa, completing the Law Society of South Africa’s School for Legal Practice in 1999 and an LLM from the University of Natal in 2001. After practicing law in South Africa, he relocated to Canada, earning an MA in Conflict Analysis and Management from Royal Roads University in 2011. That same year, he received the Northwest Territories Premier’s Award for Collaboration. He now resides in Burnaby, British Columbia, and enjoys fishing.
