PHINIAS TAFIREI is a PhD holder in Psychology from the University of South Africa (UNISA), and the incumbent Chief of the Bere Chieftaincy in Masvingo. He is a veteran educationist-cum-psychologist. He is also a lecturer at Masvingo Polytechnic in Zimbabwe and a former headmaster and graduate teacher. Dr Tafirei has published widely on issues related to culture and social justice.
