    Overview

    ABC trades with hundreds of customers worldwide: libraries, booksellers and individual book buyers, in countries throughout the world.

    ABC is a single source of supply for 150+ African publishers. Centralised billing and shipping is from the UK or US.

    Titles are all available for immediate supply: they are permanently in stock through Print-on-Demand, or immediately available through a UK wholesaler.

    Online Ordering

    Click on the cover image of the book you wish to order. From the book’s page you can add items to the shopping cart by clicking the “Add to cart” button. View items in the cart by clicking “My Cart” to add, remove or change quantities of books you order.

    To change region please use the “Change Currency” selector directly below the book’s price.

    Checkout is provided via PayPal. Sign in to your PayPal account when prompted or continue as a guest. There is no requirement to set up a PayPal account.

    eBooks and Electronic Content

    African Books Collective, as well as print editions, also distributes electronic content on behalf of publishers.

    eBooks in ePub format are available worldwide from a huge variety of retailers.

    Shipping costs

    We calculate shipping cost based on number of printed copies, weight, delivery address and geographical availability. Please enter your delivery address on the checkout page to calculate shipping costs.

    Unless trackable shipping is requested and paid for, ABC cannot be responsible for non-receipt of books.

    Returns Policy

    All books are supplied on firm account, unless special sale-or-return has been agreed in advance. Full credit (including credit for return postage) will be given for defective copies/damaged copies supplied (unless a replacement is requested), wrong titles shipped or over-supplied.

    Requests for returns will be considered in exceptional circumstances, and is at the discretion of ABC. No returns can be accepted for orders which have been pre-paid or invoiced on a pro-forma basis.

    Returns will be not be accepted unless duly authorised, and original invoice number and date supplied are quoted on return authorisation requests. Return requests must be received within 90 days in the UK and Europe and 120 days elsewhere, from invoice date.

    Books approved for return will only be accepted if they are in mint/saleable condition, unless originally received in damaged condition as set out above.

    Non-arrival of books

    In the unusual event that books do not arrive, please contact ABC as soon as possible and within 2 month time limit, and we will investigate. Customers can request trackable shipping to be charged. ABC is unable to provide refunds for non-arrival of books if tracking shipping is not requested and paid.
