MAANO RAMUTSINDELA, Professor of Environmental & Geographical Science at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. His main research interest is in the political ecology of transfrontier conservation areas. His most recent books are Cartographies of Nature: How Nature Conservation Animates Borders (2014) and Land Reform in South Africa: an Uneven Transformation (co-authored with Brent McCusker and Bill Moseley, 2016).
